Wiki's
From just a first glance at Wiki's I can see that they would be a great source of information and possibly... reference for people doing research or questing for certain information.
I am not to wild about the way anybody and everybody can change things, but this may just be me.
I will power on and see where it takes me in the world of Wiki.

Well here we are. I have created a Wiki of my own.
I guess that it is like having your own website as you get to set permissions etc on it and can monitor the activity on it.
Similar to blogging, but with alot more input from others and control.
I can see that it may be a good tool for libraries to use as a way for discussions on books and regular customers, and also to have maybe regular spotlights on varying authors or maybe even to have a guest author. Book reviews and discussions like that can be had.
It needs a moderator to control the input and output of the site and to make sure that people get what they need from the site and that there is no corruption to the input, but it shows potential.
I have found Wiki's to be very frustrating.
That is until I was able to get the inserting pics sorted. Very simple error (on my behalf).
Easy Peasy.
Still not sure that I like this format.
Onto the next challenge!
